Dihydromyricetin (DHM)

Dihydromyricetin (also known as DHM or  Ampelopsin) is a flavonoid that is a favored treatment for a wide range of ailments. It is most typically extracted from Vine Tea Extract (Ampelopsis grossedentata) and the Japanese Raisin Tree (Hovenia Dulcis).
DHM’s primary focus is working with your body to minimize the negative effects of acute alcohol ingestion
DHM ensures that alcohol impacts your brain’s GABA receptors as little as possible, so this reaction doesn’t happen and you don’t experience the rebound effect or hangover symptoms the next day.
DHM will reduce the impact alcohol has on your central nervous system (by down-regulating GABA transmission) which means you may be more coordinated and less likely to have slurred speech if you take Dihydromyricetin when consuming alcohol.

Prickly Pear Cactus

The fruit of the prickly pear cactus is a lean, mean hangover-fighting machine.
Grown in Mexico and in the Southwestern U.S., researchers believe that prickly pear extract can reduce inflammation in the liver caused by a night of heavy boozing alleviating headaches, nausea and other symptoms.
One study, led by Dr. Jeff Wiese at the Tulane Health Sciences Center in 2004, found that participants who took the extract before a night out drinking said that their nausea, dry mouth and aversion to food were all significantly less severe the next morning.

Milk Thistle

Milk thistle has antioxidant properties, and herbalists claim this helps your liver to regenerate
People have taken milk thistle (silybum marianum) for liver disorders, such as hepatitis and cirrhosis, since the days of the Ancient Greeks. The main active ingredient is an antioxidant called silybin.
Lab studies suggest that silybin may help to protect the liver from alcohol damage by, for instance, reducing the effect of damaging molecules called ‘reactive oxygen species’, levels of which are boosted by alcohol.
